I joined the Two Rivers District in 1992. For my first nine years in the district, I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science at LB Clarke Middle School. During my teaching career at Clarke, I coached track, volleyball and swimming. In 2000, I became the assistant prinicpal at Koenig Elementary working with Dick Nitsch as principal. After two years as assistant, I began my principalship at Koenig . Serving in this role, Koenig was named state and national RIF (Reading is Fundamental) champions. Koenig was also named A New Wisconsin School of Promise for each of my last seven years. In 2008 to 2010, I was honored to serve as principal of both Magee Elementary and Koenig Elementary. Then 2010 brought me back to LB Clarke as principal. At the end of the 2012 school year I assumed the role of Curiculum Director for the district. I will continue to serve as principal of LB Clarke with Tim Wester as the assistant prinicpal.
I received my bachelor of science degree from Silver Lake College and my master of science in administration from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
