TWO RIVERS – Over 200 runners competed in this year’s 12 th Annual Two Rivers 10-Mile weekend of
events. In the 1/3 Mile Kids’ Run (10 and under) on Saturday night, nearly 30 participants conquered a
windy evening to complete their race. In the boy’s portion of the Kids’ Run, Caleb Kroiss (Two Rivers) took
first in a time of 1:54, Henry Bubolz (Manitowoc) took second in a time of 2:06, and Wyatt Karstaedt (Two
Rivers rounded out the top 3 finishing in a time of 2:13. In the girl’s race, Brynn Popp (Two Rives) won in a
time of 2:02. Mckenna and Madison Brown (Two Rivers) took second (2:12) and third (2:37) respectively.

Two Rivers 10-Mile, Relay, and 2-Mile participants were greeted with milder temperatures and light winds
for the Sunday races. Greyson Stout, Sheboygan, became a 3-Time Two Rivers 10-Mile champion (2023,
2024, and 2026) completing the USATF certified course in 51:50. Charles Quast from Fond du Lac
competed in his first Two Rivers 10-mile finishing 2 nd overall in a time of 53:26. Coming in 3 rd was Dan
Peters from Minneapolis, MN in a time of 57:14. On the women’s side, Leah Patterson of Oshkosh won her
first Two Rivers 10-Mile in a time of 1:01:53. Melissa Flucke (Green Bay) captured 2 nd place in a time of
1:04:28. While Charlene Larson of Columbus, WI came in third (1:08:22). Two Rivers 10-Mile master’s
(40 and over) winner for the men was Bray Theyerl (Davenport, IA) winning another master’s title in a time
of 1:02:50. For the women masters, Carrie Peters (Appleton) lead the way in a time of 1:13:16.

In the Two Rivers 2-Mile, Ben Weina, (Two Rivers) won his 3 rd 2-Mile title in a time of 11:28. For the
women, Jean Kubicki (Green Bay) broke the tape in a time of 15:38.

In the women’s 3-Person Relay event, Team Worst Pace (Menasha) consisting of team members Cathy
Morrow, Kayla Coonen, and Kelsey Worachek took first in a time of 1:37:15.

For the coed division, Team Yogi (Kate Jakl, Yogi Boston, and Archie Barrbeau) from Fond du Lac claimed
the crown in 1:14:58.
