ELL Teacher - Koenig Email Phone: (920) 794-7522 A little about me… children and parents are often curious about “who” their teacher really is… so here we go.
I grew up on a small family dairy farm in rural Valders. I am the fourth child of five. I have two brothers and two sisters, many in-laws and nieces and nephews. As a child, I never played “house” but always played school. I had many wonderful teachers who inspired me from a young age to go into the teaching field. I had dreamed of being a teacher since kindergarten. After high school, I went to college at Silver Lake College near Manitowoc. I worked at various restaurants in Manitowoc and at home on the farm throughout my college career. I have degrees and hold licenses in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities and an additional license in English as a Second Language. I have been teaching in the Two Rivers School District since 1997!
Our family lives in Manitowoc. My husband, Craig, works at Natural Ovens. I have been blessed with two children, Danielle and Noah. Danielle is currently living in Tennessee. Noah is currently living with us and works in Manitowoc. Craig and I are also foster parents. We have three little pups, a Yorkshire, Bentley, a Havanese, Lexie and a Bermedoodle, Monte. We enjoy camping together during the summer and playing outdoors on not-too-cold winter days. I love to read, sew, crochet and cook.
To me, children are the most precious commodity our world has. They are the pillars of the future; how we shape them when they are young determines who they become as adults. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful job that I get to see little miracles happen every day when a child experiences something new or finally catches on to a concept he or she might be struggling with. These are the simple pleasures in my life.
I truly look forward to spending a school year with your child. Please feel confident to approach me anytime you may have a concern or just wish to share wonderful news or stories with me. I love to get to know my families on all levels. Thank you for encouraging your child to always do his or her best and letting them know that both failures and successes are just parts of life that we learn from. I look forward to sharing lots of successes with your child this year!
To another school year full of memories…
Sincerely,
Mrs. Brenda Carle
