Science Teacher - TRHS Email Phone: (920) 793-2291 ext. 5215 This marks my 16th year of teaching in the Two Rivers school district. Throughout my time here I have taught Science 9, Chemistry, Biology, and 8th grade science at L.B. Clarke. This year I teach 3 sections of freshman science (hr 1, 2, & 4), a section of biology (hr 6), and a section of chemistry (hr 7) at TRHS. I graduated from Lakeland University in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry; however, I returned the following year to finish a major in Chemistry as well. The next five years I spent working as a pharmacy technician and continuing my schooling for secondary education. I finished with a Secondary Education degree in 2009. Adding to all that, I returned to Lakeland the summer of 2009 to complete a Broad Field Science degree to be able to teach all science subject areas. My husband, Jeremy, teaches English at TRHS. We have a son, Lucroy, who is excited to begin sixth grade this year and a daughter, Calleah, who is going into third grade. We also have a family dog, a silver wiemador named Sylvie.
I am a freelance bass player! I play upright bass for the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra, and the Green Bay Philharmonic. I play bass guitar for local jazz/big bands, Lakeshore Big Band (Manitowoc) and Generations Big Band (Sheboygan). I have also played bass for several musicals, many here at TRHS, and events over the past 25+ years. I like to stay active by doing many styles of yoga, HIIT workouts, and a lot of walking.
