Profile

I currently teach General Music at Koenig and Magee Elementary Schools --  grades K, 1 and 2 at Koenig / grades K-4 at Magee.  I also direct the Two Rivers Elementary Chorus.  In past years at the Two Rivers Public School District, I have taught General Music for Grade 5 at both Koenig and Magee Elementary Schools, as well as 5th and 6th Grade Chorus at L.B. Clarke Middle School.  Other professional experiences include:  taught at Take Note Studio's Summer Arts Camps, served as the director of the Lakeshore Youth Chorale in Sheboygan, Wisconsin;  taught summer graduate classes at Silver Lake College; taught summer music classes for the Two Rivers Public Schools; and taught a long-term sub position at Holmen High School for the high school choral position in Holmen, Wisconsin.

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in Music Education emphasizing in General Music PreK-12 and Choral Music 7-12 at UW-Oshkosh

Master's Degree in Music Education with Kodaly emphasis at Silver Lake College 

Did You Know?

I have a husband, and two great kids.  We all love the outdoors, especially camping, boating, and kyaking! 

I love to sing at weddings and at my church.  When married life was less busy, I sang with the Lakeshore Chorale in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  I also love spending time in my backyard -- gardening, preening my flowers, and enjoying my pond.
