Graphic Arts/Design 1 is a basic course in the area of computer graphics which covers the primary graphic arts processes. Students will receive hands-on experiences in the area of Graphic Arts/Design. Along with other equipment, students will use illustration software for precision layouts and project design, including illustration, photograph manipulation, screen printing, web design, and basic Flash animation. This is a general course for printing, business and art oriented students interested in learning about the second largest industry in the United States today.
Students successfully completing this class earn 3 free transcripted college credits from LTC. While these 3 free college credits are from LTC, they can be transferred to other colleges or universities.
Class Projects and Homework:
This class has almost 100% of the project information sheets and homework assignments online! To view this information log on to the TRPS Moodle site via the link or the district home page. EVERY STUDENT has a username and password that they use frequently in class to log into the Moodle site to view class work. If you would like to log in via a guest account log in with the following username and password. You will not be able to see specific information about a student with a guest account.

The Moodle site is also where most work is handed in to be graded. The site will show what has been turned along with a date/time stamp stating exactly when it was turned in (uploaded) or modified.
This site can be accessed from any computer, tablet, or smart phone that has web browsing capabilities. The site is updated almost daily and will show the grades and comments for most recently graded projects.
